Announcements
There will be three different announcement options to use during your services, events, and meetings. On all announcements, you can customize them by adding buttons and links for events, donations, and more!
Panel type
The panel option will show up on the right side of the screen for easy access.
Modal type
The modal announcement feature will pop up in the middle of the screen for easy visibility and to prevent attendees from missing important messages.
Notification type
The notification announcement option will show up in the little icon on the right side panel as well as take you directly to the tab without disturbing the service.
Polls
Soon you will have a poll option to help engage your audience in new ways - break the ice, gather information, and find common interests. From asking people which ice cream flavor they like better to what book of the Bible should be covered in a small group, the possibilities are endless!
Meetings
This month you will have the options to host standard, video-conference group meetings with up to 50 people attending! You’ll be able to use Altar for all your small groups meetings - Bible studies, prayer meetings, staff meetings, and more!
Classrooms
Bigger video conference capacity on Altar events in coming! In the upcoming weeks, we will be releasing a classroom feature. In the Lobby, you will be able to add Rooms. Rooms function as breakout video conference sessions inside a main event and they have capacity for up to 50 people at a time. Each room can be named so you will be able to direct people to which room they should go to before or after the service.
RTMP Connection
Direct RTMP connection is coming! You will soon be able to copy your RTMP credentials directly to Altar Live when you set up a new event in Altar Live.
Ability to Relay to Facebook from YouTube
This month will also allow you to paste your RTMP link into the YouTube and Facebook section and it will allow you to multi stream through the stream provider of your choice as well as archive the recording on Facebook and YouTube.
