Connecting vMix to Altar Live

With vMix you can connect three kinds of live streams to Altar Live:

1. Stream Now
2. Scheduled Stream
3. Continuous Stream (for 24/7 streams)

Notes: 

• You can use vMix for free for 60 days, after that you will need to purchase the software
• To connect vMix to Altar Live it is necessary to stream to Facebook/Youtube destination and then to our platform. 
• vMix does not support direct embedding to other websites or third-party platforms like Altar Live.

Connecting vMix to Altar Live

Step 1: Open vMix application.

Step 2: Open up the stream settings window in vMix. From the Destination dropdown menu, select the Custom RTMP  option. Underneath that will be a Stream Key field. Paste the Altar Live URL and Stream Key you have copied into this field.

Step 3:  Click Save and Close to save your Stream settings.

Step 4:  To begin the stream click the Stream button in your vMix window or open the Stream window and click Start to begin sending the stream to Altar Live.
