Connecting StreamYard to Altar Live

StreamYard is a live stream studio that sends your stream feed to multiple sites. Follow these steps to connect StreamYard to Altar Live.

Connecting StreamYard to Altar Live

Step 1: Sign up for StreamYard.

If you already have an account then log in.

Step 2: Click Destinations on the left side of the page

Step 3: Click the Add a destination button. Select Custom RTMP.

Step 4: Go to your Altar Live account and get the RTMP streaming credentials. You will need the Stream RTMP URL and the Stream Key from your Altar Live account.

In StreamYard, paste your Altar Live information as a custom destination.

You can give this destination a nickname if your church is streaming to multiple destinations.

Step 5: The Altar Live RTMP credentials will be added to the list of your current connected platforms and ready to connect!
Step 6: To begin streaming to Altar Live using StreamYard, in StreamYard, Create A Broadcast and select Altar Live as the destination. 

Step 7: In your StreamYard dashboard, click the Go Live button to stream from StreamYard.
